President Xi Jinping has urged the parachute force of the People's Liberation Army Air Force to make all-out efforts in training and combat preparedness. Xi, who is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, said that airborne troops have special and important roles in the PLA's structure and battle system.
