Kelly McCallum is a PhD student at AUT, New Zealand. Her research focuses on emotional intelligence and sport leadership. With a health and wellness background, she currently lectures for AUT and Northtec in the AUT Bachelor of Sport and Recreation and Sport Leadership and Business Masters program. Kelly’s leadership expertise stems not only from her academic avenues, she has also captained and played for her country Canada in two rugby World Cups. She has just recently been inducted into the British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame as the first women’s rugby player to be inducted. Kelly has lead numerous workshops on emotional intelligence and mindset and is an advocate in approaching wellness from a holistic approach.
