Welcome to The Muscle Mentors Podcast! This week Cal and Ross are joined by Joe Jeffery and Christian Chapman of the Physique Collective, and Tom Hames of Evolution Coaching to talk about diuretic use within the world of bodybuilding & physique competitions. Following tragic recent events within the industry, the guys thought it would be a great idea to spend some time discussing diuretic application in physique sport, the risks, the reasons for deployment, and the mechanisms in play. Also discussed are some alternative methods to peaking, and why perhaps this could be the superior protocol when it comes to driving maximum response whilst maintaining the integrity of health markers. The boys didn't go too heavily into the specifics here as that would be getting beyond the scope of the conversation, but some knowledge bombs to be taken nevertheless. As you'll see, this is part coaching chat, part open discussion, and part general catch up! If you’d like to find out more about the Ph...
