Yzerman shifted the direction of the rebuild for the better with a flurry of signings on day one of free agency. He signed Andrew Copp, Ben Chiarot, David Perron, Dominik Kubalik, Olli Maatta, Austin Czarnik, and Matt Luff. In part 1 we cover the Red Wings signings of Copp, Chiarot, and Perron.
