The excitement around the Mariners continues to build, with Friday Night's game sold out, and the rest of the weekend not far behind, plus Julio in the All Star Game, and last night's Home Run Derby. It's unfortunate that Julio didn't win, because the storylines that could have been created would have been huge for baseball, but ESPN clearly didn't see it that way. It looks like any chance of a Pac-12 and Big 12 merger is off the table. So where does that leave the Pac-12 schools now? Ian reflects back on the dismantling of the WAC, and where that left Utah at the time.
