Then, they talk about how the passing of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 by Congress has impacted women's sports and educational opportunities for the last 50 years. They discuss how the NCAA fought and still fights the implementation of Title IX, the ways the rule impacts athletes and coaches according to their race and gender as well as how the amendment plays out regarding on-campus sexual violence. Following this discussion, you'll hear a preview of Brenda's interview with Bonnie Morris on her book about Title IX called What's the Score?
