This week I tell you about my most recent thrift trip finds, the problems with Anchor sponsorship due to changes since the pandemic, and I talk with Keyana Michel pronounced (Key-Yana) (Me-Shell). Key is a 29 year old resale fashion entrepreneur from Boston, Massachusetts. She runs are sale fashion media brand called Key To Fashion and the community organization Blacks Who Thrift, inspired by her Narts conference trip to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2017. As a Black woman, what stuck with her was that "People were constantly telling me along my journey how 'Black people don’t thrift' and it’s something that we don’t do; and I knew that wasn’t true... I was so driven and motivated to create a community that looked like me, and loved thrifting just as much as I do. I was driven to create a movement." We got into that and so much more, visit www.thrifttherapypod.com for show notes on the episode and to learn more about Key and Blacks Who Thrift. PODCAST SHOW NOTES https://www.thriftth...
