詳細信息
Clairaudience involves an individual hearing messages from elsewhere. It is similar clairvoyance, a more well-known term, which entails receiving visionary messages from elsewhere, except that clairaudience is auditory not visual. - In spiritual communities, clairaudience is often cited as hearing voices from the after life, other dimensions, entities, divine sources, or communication with your higher-self. - In parapsychology, clairaudience is the alleged ability to hear voices or sounds beyond the normal range of hearing, including supposed paranormal messages. - In the scientific communities, clairaudience is described as a form of non-pathologized auditory hallucination. - Interestingly, approximately 13% of the world’s population reportedly hear voices, but schizophrenia has a prevalence rate of only 1%. Therefore, individuals with psychotic disorders associated with auditory hallucination make up only a mere fraction of individuals hearing auditory messages. - In other words, the phenomena of clairaudience cannot easily be explained by referencing the prevalence of psychotic disorders, such as schizophrenia. - Who are these healthy voice-hearers then? Herein, we will seek to explore this question and dive into a plethora of spiritual, scientific, and parapsychological sources referencing clairaudience. - What say you?
