Now that we've reached 600 reviews on iTunes, and I'm a woman of my word! Please enjoy the long-ago recordings of RoShawn and I discussing the HP movies, and we love you all!
Greetings, lovely listeners! It's time for the long-promised recording of the Dallas LeakyCon panel that RoShawn and I did with Mark Oshiro of Mark Does stuff! You can find Mark here www.markdoesstuff.com and you can find his book Anger Is A Gift here! https://amzn.to/2MfBCINThanks so much for listening, and don't forget to pledge on Patreon (or up your pledge) at www.patreon.com/unspoiled to get me and RoShawn closer to our ASOIAF goal!
I'm so sorry this took me a month to post, but I'm hoping you can forgive me and enjoy this wonderful episode. I'm a huge fan of Bayana and Robyn, and if you're interested in finding out more about them and listening to their show, head on over to http://blackgirlscreate.org/wizardteamThis panel was about all of the cool opportunities that J.K. Rowling missed when she was creating the concept of Ilvermorny, the wizarding school in the United States. Rather than just copy-pasting Hogwarts into the Americas, she could have taken our actual history into account, and also addressed that ONE school for millions of students wasn't really practical. So what would that look like? What kind of education and transportation network would have to be in place to accommodate that many kids, and what about the periods before integration? How would that have worked? Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you again soon with the other panel we did with Mark Oshiro!
Hey there, you beauties! I'm here with a very special episode, which RoShawn and I did as part of an all-day John Wick Marathon fundraiser! We're raising money for Project Corazon, a targeted effort by Lawyers For Good Government, which provides funding to lawyers who want to represent detained immigrants but who can't afford the expense of travel and hotels. Please help us get to our goal of $2,000! We're over halfway there! Donate here: https://www.mightycause.com/event/UnspoiledGet more information about Project Corzaon here: https://www.lawyersforgoodgovernment.org/project-corazonCheck out the live-watches on Crowdcast here! https://www.crowdcast.io/e/john-wick-live-watch
Hey everyone! It has been a while, and RoShawn and I are here to just chat a bit about the super fun new game that came out from Niantic, and we're also going to tell you about some upcoming changes to the UNspoiled! Patreon page, some meetups, and what's going on at LeakyCon! For those of you who are Patrons, don't worry, this episode isn't replacing the Half-Blood Prince reread episode for this week, so keep an eye out for that too!
I am so sorry it has taken me this long to get this episode up, but I really hope you enjoy it. Spoilers: RoShawn and I hated this book deeply and plan to pretend we never read it at all. However, something good did come of it; LeakyCon was amazing and we will be back next year, so hopefully we will see some of you there! If you'd like to check out the September Accio! unboxing I mention in the opening, here is the link! https://www.crowdcast.io/e/accio-unboxing It's only about 15 minutes and a lot of fun. Visit acciobox.com and use code UNspoiled for 10% off your first 3 boxes!
It's a momentous day. Today is the first time I will be releasing a podcast that doesn't have anything to do with any sort of media whatsoever, and is instead just a conversation between RoShawn and me. I'm only putting the first episode as wide-release so that everyone can get a sense of it, but from Episode 2 onward they will be an exclusive perk to $20+ Patrons. Here's why I chose that high a tier: RoShawn and I will be splitting all the $20 tier profits 50/50, and adding a whole new show to our recording schedule is no joke so it really needed to be worth our while. This episode is about Being Sick, and it's kind of funny because I start off the episode talking about how I'm not really sick and it's just allergies, but...it turns out I was actually sick and just in denial. RoShawn shares her thoughts on the Neti-Pot, and I read an advice column question that has us both ready to call the cops. Thanks so much for listening! This show will be bi-weekly, so another one will be out on Patreon in a couple weeks and we're open to topic suggestions as well as emails asking for advice! Hope you enjoy the show. :D
