In the ultimate tribute, Jeff has recorded one final Patcast and dedicated it to Jason. It's a series of thoughts and memories of the great times the two spent recording each week and how much they enjoyed producing the podcast.

JPat and Botch are back with a new podcast trying to get to the bottom of the Canucks pursuit for a new president. The owner denies discussions with Dean Lombardi, but what about Ken Holland now that he’s no longer in charge in Detroit? And why are things so quiet around the Canucks these days? Is this the calm before a summer storm of change? What should the Canucks have learned from a turbulent opening round of the playoffs. Plus, there’s $150 Beaver Buzz prize pack up for grabs for a lucky listener.

With the Canucks done for the season, JPat and Botch weigh in on the opening round of the playoffs. They compare the coaching job John Tortorella is doing in Columbus to the work he did behind the Canucks bench. They also explore what it takes to be successful at this time of year and what the Canucks can learn from teams advancing on the path to the Stanley Cup. The guys also review Jeff’s preseason goal projections for Canucks scorers.

With season over, JPat and Botch wrap up what they saw from the 2018-19 Vancouver Canucks and react to the lottery balls slotting the team 10th in June’s draft. The guys review the final week of the season, debate the team’s year end awards, react to what was — and wasn’t — said at the year-end press conferences and try to gauge whether the Canucks will make a splash as the draft hosts.

JPat and Botch start April with a brand new Patcast reviewing Quinn Hughes first few games in the NHL. They like what they’ve seen so far, but wonder why he hasn’t seen much time on the power play yet. They also discuss whether it makes sense to resign Luke Schenn after just 15 games with the team. And how does Schenn fit into an off-season overhaul of the Canucks blueline? Also, the guys debate if the Canucks are better now than they were at this time last season.

JPat and Botch have been given their talking points for this week’s Patcast. They discuss the Canucks struggles over a forgettable week that included yet another shutout loss. That produced one of the greatest Twitter threads of the season which the guys break down in detail. They also have a $150 Beaver Buzz prize pack to give away.

Jeff and Jason have recorded a new podcast in the wake of Wednesday’s wild 7-4 win over Ottawa. The guys get into the many reasons for the team’s recent run of success. Is there value to the team in winning games at this stage of the season? Will late season victories change management’s view of the hockey club? And, honestly, who saw a week with goals from Schaller, Motte, Granlund and Eriksson coming? Certainly not the hosts of the The Patcast

JPat and Botch have recorded a new podcast in which they discuss the signing of Quinn Hughes and what his arrival means for the Vancouver Canucks. When will he make his NHL debut? And how will the hockey club handle him over the remainder of this season? The guys discuss Jim Benning's latest address to the media after the Hughes signing and they also review the week that was including an overtime win against Toronto and another mismatch versus Vegas. Plus, they predict how many wins the Canucks have in them over the final 13 games of the season.

JPat and Botch dig into what went wrong on the Canucks three-game winless road trip. They weigh in on the team’s recent struggles and give their thoughts on what to expect over the final 16 games. Plus they look forward to the pending addition of Quinn Hughes and try to figure out how he’ll adapt to life in the NHL

On this week’s Patcast, JPat and Botch look back at the Canucks at the trade deadline. They break down the Erik Gudbranson deal and reflect on his time in Vancouver. They also assess Jim Benning’s deadline day as a whole — what was done and what wasn’t done. And what are the Canucks getting in Tanner Pearson. The guys have some thoughts on that, too.
