Members of the FindJodi team were recently in Mason City, and on this episode of the FindJodi podcast, team members Scott Fuller and Caroline Lowe share their impressions of the Key Apartments, where news anchor Jodi Huisentruit was abducted on June 27, 1995.

Jodi Huisentruit was living on the top floor of Building C of the Key Apartments in Mason City, Iowa, when she was attacked and abducted in the parking lot at about 4:30 AM on June 27, 1995.The KIMT-TV anchor had lived there for about 18 months.Jodi was running late for work that day, and it’s believed that Jodi’s abductor may have been waiting for her in the parking lot, due to the short distance between the entrance to Jodi’s building and her car – just 10 to 12 steps. The Key Apartments complex has three residential buildings and two parking lots.On this episode of the FindJodi podcast, the team shares witness accounts we’ve gathered from other residents of the complex in 1995, which might shed some light on what happened to Jodi before sunrise 26 years ago.Anyone with information about Jodi’s case can reach out to the Mason City Police Department at (641) 421-3636. Information can also be provided to the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigations at (515) 725-6010 or dciinfo@dps.state.ia.us.You can also email us: team@findjodi.comSEE ALSO: Map and diagram of the south parking lot, next to Building Cwww.findjodi.com/the-white-van/Special thanks to Heather Wright (Nature vs. Narcissism, Status: Pending, and Ohio 88 podcasts) for her VoiceOver work in this episode.
